accept for the references to Primus, stasis lock, plus their ships were never called the Ark or the Nemesis in the cartoon. And the idea for Beast forms came from those TFs with animal Pretender shells.

Primus was thrown in there just so the TFs could have a bible, and the Pretenders Blood, Touros, Gilmer, and the Dinoforce look pretty bestial to me...

I forgot that Pretenders weren't just in the comic. Primus was thrown in cuz they needed Rhinox to say something like "God help us," but you can't say God in a kid's show. So they used Primus instead, not realizing that he wasn't a part of the cartoon continuity. Then they started paying more attention to what happened in both continuities, making Beast Wars an amalgam of both.

they got Beast forms b/c there was no Mechanical life on Ancient Earth/Energios

they got Beast forms b/c there was no Mechanical life on Ancient Earth/Energios

duh, what's your point :wtf

It had almost nothing to do with Pretenders.

the technology that they use to have beast forms is a later version of the pretender technology. For example, the pretender shells of guys like Catilla and Carnivac paved the way for such technology.

what I don't get is whay guys like Antagony, Apelinq, Shokoract, Caticlysm, and Windarazor had beast modes if they came from Cybertron?

well, in the Wreckers continuity, Apelinq and the others awoke to those new forms, kinda like how Nightscream did in Beast Machines. After Megatron released that virus, Apelinq the other TFs that eventually became the Wreckers just woke up that way. They think the virus may have done it, but they're not quite sure.

hey! Antagony, Shockoract, Caticlysm, and Windrazor are from an alternate Cybertron... Mabie everybody on That Cybertron has beast modes?
