energon better than armada

:tfmad If we must endure a dubbed Transformers series you would think the writers would take a little more time to come up with the dialogue. I feel like all we get is animation mouth movement filler loosely wrapped around an attempt at the Translation of the story.

I have to loosely base this off the first episode. So I can't rely make a decision until I see a couple more, but I do see potential. Animation is definitely better. The voices need to mature though. I just have to see how the story pans out before making my judgment call on what is better.

No, I dont see anything about cel shading to be kiddie. To me it conveys way more depth and a nice crisp look. The colors on armada are quite bland, especially after watching energon.

Well said.

In my opinion, Energon is shaping up to be a great series, judging by the first episode. Only time can tell, though.

Thanks Mr.Kaga, just my opinion :)

I really enjoyed the first episode of energon, Jetfire kicks ass. After watching the 4 superlink episodes I know this series will be great. Tidal wave kills like 30 unnamed transformers by the end of episode 4 :thumb

Armada's animation was good, when it was at it's best. However, many times over in the series the animation was very lacking. A few example's: In "Swoop" when Starscream fell into Red-alert's trap, the animation that had Starscream flying up the trap was horrendus. In "Decisive Battle", the animation with the boulder chasing Smokescreen was just as bad.

Energon's animation is looking good so far, at least through episode 4.
