Brave and the Bold sucks more than

Well, it is true... The pecking order is

 

Brave and the Bold < Junkion < toxic waste < :poop < The Batman < Batman Beyond = BTAS

 

I love Brave & The Bold. It's basically the 50's Batman on TV! It's cool to see Batman get beyond the brooding Dark Knight stage (evidenced by the original style suit Owlman stole) and have a bit of a sense of humor, while still keeping his dedication to fighting crime. He's no less effective, no less intelligent or calculating than other versions. He just has a more relaxed personality. It's a different, but still valid take, and I'm really enjoying it.

TBH, Batman shouldn't have humour. Or brood. He's not one to talk. His entire mind is focused on the job at hand, and he does his job so others don't become like him. I've never really been a fan of 'Batmobiles', I mean, IRL, totally inefficient. And can you imagine him stuck in a traffic jam? The planes he uses are so much better ;)

It's far too cheesy for it's own good, got Aquaman completely wrong as well. And Blue Beetle? Well, Ted Kord is THE blue beetle. Bleh.

Also, Batman shouldn't team up with other heroes. He's just a man, and no matter how he disguises it, or decides to go ahead with it instead of backing down, he's scared of these superpowered villains. I mean, why else come up with these counters? Or Brother Eye?

If you want to watch cheesy Batman, watch the Adam West/Burt Ward stuff. I mean, that stuff was brilliant. Truly hilarious.

 

Oh, and they completely got Earth 3/Three wrong.

I own all seasons of B:TAS on DVD. The Batman was tolerable! Brave & Bold is just a 30 minute commercial!

Although I mainly read Vertigo comics (which is DC), Marvel has some notable comics. The main problem with Marvel is Jeff Lobe and Joe Quesada. I mean WHAT THE FRAK.

 

I think the Ultimate universe is probably the better of the two so far. I heart Ultimate Spiderman, and I hear the new Iron Man comics are good.

 

By the way, Wolverine and the X-Men is full of win. Even if you hate Wolverine, they focus on several other characters. In recent years Marvel cartoons are much better then the DC cartoons and vice versa in comics.

What Marvel cartoons have their been in recent years? I can think of one, X-Men: Evolution, which was alright.

No, "Wolverine and the X-Men" is the new cartoon series. It is much better than the 90's version and Evolution, and it has the voice actor Steve Blum (the bad @$$ voice of Spike Spiegel) for Wolverine. It brings in a lot of elements from the comic books, past cartoon incarnations, and the movies. I highly recommend it.

your right about the ironman series. spectacular spider-man is good it just need's a little more in it such as guns that fire bullets and not lasers or spiked balls and don't sound like pcheew or chuuum and a redesign of the goblin that does'nt have a loin cloth and big ass boots and the new design need's the character's bag of tricks also if they are trying to get the story as correct as they can the goblin norman(if he becomes the goblin) not harry has to push gwen of a bridge and spider-man goes to save her and snaps her neck with the webs otherwise they may as well cancel the series because they have harry as the goblin liz allen's mexican instead of a blonde cheerleader venom is like ridiculosly huge roderick kingsley the hobgoblin (for all the idiots that thought harry was the hobgoblin after watching spider-man 3) looks like morgan freeman tombstone is the kingpin gwen's a nerd the goblin gets his powers from a liquid performance inhancer that he drinks instead of it blowing up in his face kraven's a freaking lion werewolf thing LIKE WHAT THE FRAK
