Wings are from a Macross Valkyrie / Robotech Veritech right?

Bingo. It's from a 1/55 scale veritech fighter knockoff. As mentioned by slimax, I modified the tips and reversed the wings.

 

Here is a pic of how I attached it to the back of the shoulders. I added a hollow peg to the back of the shoulders. I also added a slightly smaller solid peg to the wings. The solid peg goes right into the hollow peg. There are similiar holes underneath the carriage for the wings to attach in seeker mode as well.

Its not a modified minicon post. The pegs are styrene pieces you can buy for crafting or kitbashing. As for transformation, the wings have to be removed, which leaves you with just the small peg in the back of the shoulder. This small piece does not affect transformation in any way. I can put a large peg there and it still won't affect transformation. There is a significant amount of room around that area.

Yeah that rocks, really turned out great particularly in all his garb and with the scepter. It all works so well, the silver works surprisingly well and looks really clean in car mode. Kudos to the master lets see if Arcee works now ;)

 

P.S to anyone who missed me, I had a little mishap & I am back on my feet now and will proceed to annoy people with my comments again shortly ;)
