I won't pay for any G1 Prime with shortstacks for more than $25. Sorry just can't do it, wouldn't be prudent.

I'm getting that, since this Prime is obviously for people who haven't kept up with Transformers and who would just make a nostalgia purchase. And yet here we are all talking about getting it. And how many of us already have a G1 Optimus Prime? And MTMTE on DVD? And at least a reprint of TF #1?

I've been seeing these on endcaps more and more as of late at the Walmarts I go to regularly. I'll have to keep an eye out for these if they decide to put them on clearance.

I think that's because some are in a trend of buying toys/stuff/figures addictively and it's a force of habit now. Others dont have what they consider to be their quintessential version of said figure (in this case G1 Prime). And others still just constantly want the freshest/newest version of the same character/figure/update over and over.

I have no problem owning 8-12+ G1 Primes, and obviously Megatrons. I want all the Megatrons, and currently have 8 (I think) Primes, and I can list probably 6-8 more that I want.

I see two different box version to this Prime. Are they priced the same? Is $69.99 the original price for this figure? That's the price I saw for this figure at TRU the last time I went.

How much was it before again? I might be convinced to buy it... The Autobot/25 emblem is pretty cool IMO... Plus I haven't had a g1(g2 actually) prime since I was too young to take proper care of them

Its the 25th Anniversary G1 "showing his age" Optimus Prime! Can't get it up, Has gone grey, and his missiles are all out of shape. :old
