well im working on my 3rd jazz and im useing your idea with the sunroof as it works so well for him.

Got a few questions about this custom

1. does the head fit in car mode? (it's the botcon one right?) I used Action Master Jazz's head and it's too big for transformation :(

2. Why did you leave the arms the wrong colors? (supposed to be black hands, white forearms and black shoulders)

3. Did you consider getting a Silverstreak to part swap? (easily swap the roofs so no styrene is needed and you can give him black hands so the paint won't chip when you put his gun in)

1 Yes a little tall so it touches the ground some. So don't roll him around too much.

2 They look more uniform to the rest of his body this way.

3 No because then I'd be buying a figure just for the sun roof when as I showed it is very simple to make your own, and it's much cheaper. You can blacken the hands with a black King size Sharpie & it won't chip. The ink dyes the plastic.

Thanks for the info. I guess I just bought the extra Silverstreak with the intentions of making Jazz more G1 and figured I'd use the sunroof, which I did but now I have an extra Silverstreak with a light bar that I'm gonna need to switch out eventually for my next custom, doh! Maybe I'll try your styrene trick :thumb

I just contacted WJ to see about getting one of his heads but he's out, making more soon though. I'll wait to make my next Jazz or Stepper or both. Thanks for your help man. I was looking at your Superion and Bruticus for a few ideas too
