Any one else not notice that Energon Towline had homages to G1 Skids? I was just concentrating on the Ironhide/Rachet homages. It took BWTF.com to show me. Sorry if I'm late and this has been posted already.

I was talking about the side stripes as far as vehicle modes

Yeah, I noticed that, but only the vehicle mode. The BWTF review was cool how it noted the bot head similarities as well. Overall I think Tow-Line wins the prize for "most realized potential" by having 3 homages in one: Skids, Ironhide, and Ratchet, while still being a unique and fun toy on its own!

The vehicle modes look alike, but the robot modes stay different from each other. :thumb

I think people did not see the skids homage cause of his alt mode... that car is more chevette than van, and so when we saw the radar van of towline, and the "battle wagon" we all smilled and thought ironhide/ratchet.... good catch tho
