Holy crap!

 

any chance on a tut / progress log on this one, or was it pretty straight forward.

 

Also, are the wings on a joint at all or just anchored onto the back? (a joint would be unbelievably awesome)

 

What kinda of articulation does he have now?

I wanted to make the wings move but i'd had reached a point that i thought if i messed with him any more i'd lose my mind.... :tfrofl

 

he has ball joints on the neck shoulders, knees, hips and elbows and a midbody point, everything else is a simple straight cut joints that allow for him to be very poseable.

it was a very labor intense custom, i've been working on him for months, it wasn't necessarily a straight forward build but it was not all that difficult it just took alot of trial and error and creative thinking!

 

i wanted to make a decent representation of the character and i think this does the job quite well.

 

i have put him up on ebay right now so if you want to check him out go ahead

Well, if you wanna keep with the RR 2.0 feel you've got with BB here, you could always make the obvious jump to Megatron & Optimus, didn't they have similar statues?

 

Love this custom though, and totally understand not doing the wings; that'd be aLOT of grey hair over a detail not many people would understand...
