I'm trying to determine the approximate value of the MTMTE series from DW. I see some single issues on ebay as high as $25 and whole sets for upwards of $75. Are these inflated prices or are they actually worth that much? The reason I ask is because I have issues #1-6 and 8. I would like to get #7, but I'm also trying to find a few things I'm willing to part with to get that MP Grimlock. Any insight would be helpful cause I don't know too much about comics pricing. Thanks!

  5. Ongoing 15 hits the shelves of your local comic shops in about 24 hours is it the awesome fans will be raving about for weeks to come, or is it the train wreck that will break the back of the series? As I've had the wonderful opportunity to have had issue 15 in hand for a few weeks, with much thanks and gratitude to the wonderful IDW folks who sent it my way, here is my non spoiler review. Maybe it will send you running immediately to your local comic shop on Wednesday morning to purchase this bad boy! Read on after the jump! Read the Full News Story Here

  6. Started by KFGatri,

Was Blackrock originally intended to be Tony Stark? He looks almost exactly like Stark, apart from the glasses, has a similar role (head of a high-tech company). Did Budiansky write issue 5 with Stark, and then the decision to seperate TFs from Marvel's universe 616 make the change necessary? It certainly makes sense, but I wsa wondering if there was ever any official word on this.

  7. I was looking at my TF comics over the weekend and noticed all 4 issues of the G.I. Joe and the Transformers mini-series were the subscription version. Was there a direct edition (with a barcode on the front) released of this series?

wonder if this will pick up where Joe/TF II left off with Unicron http://TFormers.com/article.php?sid=5297&mode=flat

Okay, mine arrived in the mail today. Page by page breakdown: 1. Cover 2. Welcome to Botcon 3. Clench is leading the Decepticons against the Autobots lead by Spark at the large hedron collider in Switzerland. Decepticons winning. Breakdown appears in his Botcon body, but in G1 colors! 4. Autobots surprised by the order from Spark to fall back. Flashback of the TV story so far. Decepticons left for deep space, and most Autobots lead by Optimus went after them leaving a handful of Autobots on Earth. On Earth the humans used reversed engineering to make more Transformers. Some of the new Transformers were evil (lead by Clench). Then Optimus and Galvatron sent back a c…

I am bringing these to the table because i am an avid Transformers comics reader of ALL types and ages. I re-read my comics all the time (after memory wears off usually to keep up with the lore') and recently had re-read all my GIJoe Transformers comics. These were back in the Dream Wave days i believe. "Art of War" is about a time AFTER Cobra encounters the Cybertronians and has tried to wield their power and fails, but some SUPER SECRET top secret Goverment members kept some peices of the Deecepticons, namely MegaTRON and Soundwave's heads. The use this by reverse bio enginering their recources and curcuitry into this all powerfull being. Serpent O.R., or, Serpento…
