Okay. I got him yesterday, and I figured out a way to paint the eyes of Mini-Cons thus giving otherwise lifeless faces some personality. I file down a toothpick, dip it in the right paint, and paint the eyes and other parts that make it more alive. So the question is, is there a way to take off the top so I can get access his face?

If anyone has any good pictures of Optimus Primal they could share with me(3D renders from the Mainframe cartoon, 2D art, or even pictures of the toy) I would appreciate it. I would like ones of his original form, but either of his transmetal forms would be great, too.

Could IDW's incarnation of the Gen 1 Transformers be considered Gen 1.5? Hear me out: Transformers cartoon is Gen 1 Marvel US comic is 1.2 Marvel Uk comic is 1.3 Dreamwave comic is 1.4 so by this logic IDW comic would be Generation 1.5 Or am i completely wrong?

For my 100th Post I would like to get everyones opinion on which tranformer they felt had the best\most original\weirdest\most unique\outlandish paintjob. Robot OR alt mode. I would say either Tracks or Starscream, altho I always thought Skywarp and Thrust looked pretty sweet based purely off their paintjobs as well. Let the opinions BEGIN!!!

For those of us who found our way into the world of Transformers via the Sunbow cartoon in the mid-eighties, those episodes we remember from childhood still hold a very special place in our hearts and will forever be recognised as the gateway to the hobby we cherish today. In the UK, many of the episodes were not easily accessible and it wasn't until the mid-to-late nineties that a number of fans were able to view seasons 1 to 3 in their entirety, until then VHS tapes were like gold dust. Then the DVDs came and the VHS tapes became worthless. However, as one collector recently said to me wisely, we tend to now enjoy the episodes that we had as children the most. My favour…

I hope to meet some of you if you are, I'm ready this will be my first TF convention. :tflaugh Will there be alot of dealer tables there?

I'm not sure if this topic has been done before, I've just checked and haven't seen it. I've been wondering about getting the Transformers Takara DVD box set some day, I'm somewhat put off by the bad dubbing, but I'm still curious about it. Is it worth getting one day or better avoiding? -;['.
