Went to Wal-mart today, the one closest to where I live, anyway- to check for new stuff as usual. Found *new* Beachcomber, Wing Saber, and Grimlock/Swoop. They had some more Shockblasts and a Dreawing just put out. I like shockblast...dreadwing isn't that common anymore, so I thought about picking him up....but Grim and Swoop called to me. I just started watching TF Prime (as I just realized I got the hub) and I recorded a bunch of shows and started to watch them... I'm really liking the show a lot... which has led me to looking into the figures. Question 1: Why did they do the first edition TFs? What was the deal there? Limited I guess? Question 2: Are there any good pics of comparisons of the FE and the ones out now? I really like the first edition bumblebee vs the crap one that's out now... so i'm not going to buy that one... is takara releasing the molds from the FE?

I went into TOYSRUS to look for a ROTF Sideswipe and noticed they restocked Animated... Its kind of strange but could they be the only store that eventually stock Arcee and company...

Okay, fellow trans-fans I need your help. With the 20th Aniversary Optimus Prime and the "rebirth" of Generation 1 favorites, I've found myself thinking a lot about the rolls various Autobots and Decepticons played within each faction. Like Prime was the Autobot commander; Smokescreen the Diversion Specialist, Blaster was the Communications Officer and so on. i also know several were really more considered "Warriors." So what i'm looking for is a list or a location that would have said info... Any links or posts would be greatly appreciated.

Could any Japanese speaking fans translate a couple things for me? Specifically, the suffixes added to the characters' names, like: -sama -tachi -kun .. and the rest? I know "-san" is student, right? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
