just went into my local TRU here in Bremerton and noticed that all previous waves of G! were on sale... cars were going for $20 and Seekers were going for $25... the sale also seems to be going on at Toysrus.com Had this posted at allspark right before it went down too =\

Hi. The topic title is very black and white, I know, but that was used to help grab some attention. Seriously, almost everytime I see people post about G1 Optimus it`s usually something negative. They are always comparing him to other leaders. Like, he didn`t do this or that, or he couldn`t do this or that, or wasnt`as good as.....(fill in the blank). Why do so many of you dislike him? I'm fairly new to posting and have posted in others' topics over the last month or so, but decided to start my own here, so bare with me a little and remember i'm new. For me, transformers will always be the G1 us cartoon continuity. I was too young to read the comics when they were out, and have not really enjoyed the newer incarnations. I did love Beast Wars, largely due to its continuity of G1, and took Beast machines with a grain of salt, but its just how I am. I have a question, but not sure this is the correct forum. If not, someone please kindly let me know or move the thread. I am looking into beginning my G1 collection in earnest. However, I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with buying G1 stuff on ebay only to find that what they get is really a loose re-issue? I just see an aweful lot of bots in "really great shape, 100% complete!" and can't help being a bit suspicious. If my fears are unfounded or you think this is a really stupid issue to be having, by all means let me know!
