  2. Started by BowB4Prime,

I was wondering if somone could post me a good picture of vector primes sword....the one thats painted.....i want to paint my american version and i dont know quite what it looks like

  3. guys i just got my hands on vector prime and having read somewhat about how there is going to be a starwars subline of sorts that got me thinking. would it be possible to bash a darth vader head onto the figures body and bash it up into a transformer version of him. the guy turns into a sith infiltrator for crying out loud. so i got some questions 1 would it be possible to modify the shoulder armor so that its somewhat shorter on the side with some of it repositioned onto the lower arms to act as a pair of stabbing weaponry. 2 would it be possible to stiffen up the sword and wings by applying a thin layer of clear epoxy glue to the outside surface of th…

  4. Started by akum6n,

Finally finished this, so I thought I'd post pictures. I guess the effect isn't so obvious in the photo, but I used Gundam Markers (new Real Touch water-based markers) to ink in VP's panel lines. The thing that bothered me about this figure was that it looked too plasticky in its production version in comparison to the prototype images-- doing panel lines makes it look a lot better. The first picture is of VP pre-inking- just for contrast.

  5. Started by My Alt. Mode Sucks,

I think it's generally agreed that Vector Prime's Stateside paint job sucks ass. (Pardon the bluntness, but it's the truth) So, I decided to give him an update...and while it's not quite accurate to the Japanese figure, I like how it turned out. I used a Sharpie that has a pinkish-mauve color to it, which, surprisingly, gave him a really nice metallic sheen to the parts that used to be "came-from-my-ass" brown. The photos are a bit blurry and the shine doesn't show up that well, but I think you'll get the general idea:

  6. Started by Jin Saotome,

He's finished, a Siege style Vehicon based off the Decepticon Brute/Drone from War for Cybertron game. Vehicon was made from an upscaled Sideswipe KO, modded Dinobot ConstructBots Strafe head, and some movie Hound weapons. He was primered with Bulldog Adhesion promoter and painted using Tamiya/Testors lacquers and neon paint detailing that shows up great under a black light. Vehicon's paint job is metallic black with Mr Hobby premium gloss sealer. For more pics head to his page here: Custom Vehicon, voyager scale

  8. Started by Vector Sigma,

I was stripping the paint off of Skids for a repaint and I found the most easy way to remove paint from Alts. I was able to remove all the paint from the clear plastic. All you need is a corse towel or regular scratch pad (you know, for washing dishes?). A cheap bottle of rubbing alcohol from wal-mart. Run the painted areas under scalding hot water for about a minute, and then dip your towel or pad in the alcohol. and rub hard on the area you want striped......one or two sessions and, viola ! all done ! HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU AS WELL AS IT HAS FOR ME.

  9. Started by Cybcouncil,

Here is Magnumtron's second attempt at a character for His Veterans of Cybertron line. He always thought Beachcomber was underutilized so when this mold came out in the Cybertron line He jumped on it. Once he has all the characters done he will be making a story to go along with the group. Vehicle Mode: Robot Mode:

  10. Started by Cybcouncil,

This is the first figure of Magnumtron's Veterans of Cybertron line. He has dial up so he asked me to post this. These are only preliminary pics so far cuz he still needs to do some detailing on it and make different faction symbols, the waterslide kind. He would very much appreciate any comments on what He's done. This first one is Bumblebee, He wanted to start out simple. The next ones will be Gears and Huffer, and the fembot Moonracer then on to the big ones like Kup and Devcon. Vehicle Mode: Robot Mode:
