Upgrades

After pre-ordering Transformers Devastation last month. I felt inspired to do this custom. Given, I already had a Titan Class Devastator on display. I decided to give it go. Instead of doing a full overhaul, strip and repaint of the figure, Titan Class Devastator was customized with the subtle nudge you see here to make him more awesome. This is the combined form of my ROTF Stunticons as Menasor.He is a bit freaky but not quite as beastly as ROTF Devastator!The first couple of pics show him without his weapons and the last 2 show him with his cannon and sword.He has actual fingers and a thumb to hold the sword with his left hand. The other arm has pincers but can transform to cannon mode too.The weird plug on Motormasters chest is where the mini-con plugs in and the wires to the shoulder are for the minicon to serve as a power source for the vampiric left forearm, Deadend. Here's Blackjack, a Decepticon that's really ahead of his time. Or is that behind the times? Blackjack's alt mode is based on one of those old mobster cars, the original figure was an Autobot Hubcap. I changed his hands so they could hold weapons, removed the lower pipes, outfitted him with a new head, and added bullet holes all over the left side of the car. He was given a grayscale type paint job as a nod to the era and now looks like he belongs in a classic black and white crime movie! View the Custom Gallery Here

Props to Shinobitron for doing this headswap first. Smoulder's head on Rescue Ratchet was a great idea! I took it a step further after seeing Playschool's new Rescue Bots Heatwave and wanted a fire/rescue vehicle but in regular TF style. I constructed some shoulder cannons from various parts and a blazing axe from a DCU weapon. An extended light bar came from movie Longarm. The knees were modded to allow him to stand straight up, shoulders panels modded to fold all the way in, and bumper that now swings down and locks the chest in place. Now Heatwave is ready to roll!
