Hello, On this and one other transformers news posting, I have enjoyed your news postings and your fan base for years now. With up to the minute postings and awesome fan made customs, I find it to be a daily treat. One of my most favorite shows of the transformers line besides the obvious G1 era I grew up with was the Beast Wars/ Machines era. In my opinion it not only brought this childhood line back but tried to take it to the next level (sometimes with fan protest). Such was the case with Beast Machines, fans Ive bumped into either liked it or hated it. At any rate I wondered what if Beast Machines was taken to the next level in the Transtech line. So thats how I built…

Tinkering around with the new wheeljack pict. I hope there are a lot more classic car designs coming our way. I figure red is a classic color for a chevelle...then I thought that might not be a chevelle but a olds...oh well. Figure someone out there might want to starsky and hutch it out, so red is a good color.

Well it's been a while since I tackled a Transformers custom, sorry for the long hiatus there. I'm trying to round out my gallery so I've been busy with adding Halo, GI Joe, and other lines. Every once in a while I'll sneak a custom TF in and this week I have one for you!If you remember the Transformers movie Payload, he was an armored truck that I turned into a SWAT vehicle before. Well here's an Animated Payload based on that theme, an armored police vehicle of sorts. He was made from a Voyager Bulkhead, modded Soundwave head for the camera-eye look, Clone Wars Destroyer Droid legs for his claw-hands, and various fodder parts including new feet. I added a 'payload' of m…

Built from parts of Combat Hero Optimus Prime, United Laser Optimus, and TFCC Scourge. Along with the KO Blue battle Tanker and parts of a KO Black Battle Tanker. There has been minimal painting mostly silver from a Sharpie marker. I also included comparisons with both FP's Powered Commander, the reissue Blue Ultra Magnus, and a RTS Laser Optimus Prime in the gallery. The core robot is made up from with the blue cab parts and arms of the Combat Hero Optimus. The windshield and side windows, headlights/grill, shoulders, torso, and waist of United Optimus. The Head, hands, thighs, legs, and feet of Scourge. Cab Cab with trailer Cab with trailer and armor Robo…

My first custom. A Classics Optimus Prime straight repaint based on G2 Thunderclash. Personally I think this is at least a better homage than the upcoming Botcon one! Thunderclash is about the only toy who shared a mold with Optimus Prime not to receive a homage in recent years. Not too happy with the way the white paint turned out. While the pink for the windows is about the best shade available, the brush strokes are a little bit too obvious. Overall, however, happy, especially with the way the gold and red look. Hey guys. I have an Activators Optimus Prime figure, that I'm tossing between the ideas of removing the springs, or returning to the store. I'm wondering if anyone else has already tried this, and if so, what did you do to 'replace' the spring so it still works as a transforming figure, and not become a floppy mess?
