  2. Finally finished these guys up. There's a TON of photos of each one on my flickr account, and (possibly tomorrow) my website.Over 100 photos in all, super large too.Hands down, best ROTF figure in my opinion. Amazing details, great scale. I bow to Hasbro's execution of this figure. Love it. Very labor intensive paint job. View the Custom Gallery Here

  3. Started by smuggles,

Classics Mirage has no upper head mobility, nor a neck, so I removed the head hinge to perhaps file the back off to allow so upward articulation (friend on flickr did the same with great results). Once the head was removed I noticed that it MAY fitbetween the wheels on the higher grey hinge. I unufortunately don't have the skills to remove some parts to GET to that grey hinge. BUT will post these pics asking for help, direcetions, instructions. etc. These 2 shoulder "things" are holding the upper torso together. I have no idea how to remove them. 8. Started by WRX-78,

I've used Testors paint thinner before to get the paint off of Dead End's head. It still interacts with the plastic so that it becomes slightly 'foggy' when dried. Which doesn't matter case I'm painting over obviously. I've also tried isopropyl alcohol and let sit 24 hours for a Sideswipe head. The paint comes off, but it's doesn't come off as easy as paint thinner. I'd like to know if there are other ways to remove factory paint while leaving the plastic beneath pristine. Yeah, I saw the BTA Red alert and wanna 'get the red out'. :) Thanks for any help.
