Upgrades

This Transformers Prime custom Beast Hunters Ripclaw features two easy to do mods and one not so easy to do. Her neck mod involves buying a set of the double ball joints from Big Bad Toy Store and removing her old one, drilling down into the neck piece so you can glue in the ball cup. The other ball post end snaps perfectly in her head socket. For her ball-jointed elbows I used TF Movie Depthchage's elbows, cutting the originals off at the red swivel peg and drilling into that to mount the gold ball cups. While Ripclaw's bio mentions the character is a 'She' there's still argument in the Transformers fandom. Here I went to put an end to that buy sculpting a brand…

This is my take on the supreme ruler of COBRA if he were a transformer. I used a crossovers Thor for the base and with a little paint, some custom decals and a resculpted head, the final product is pretty cool. I especially liked how the wings/cape turned out.View the Custom Gallery Here

I am trying to make a Alternator Energon Rodimus... I have searched the internet now for like 3 hours...with no luck! Does anyone know where I can get 1:24 scale decals...similar to the gold flames on Energon Rodimus. I do not want flame colored decals...I am looking for a way to emulate the gold flame design. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

Hey guys. This is a straight repaint. Painted him a matte black, then dry brushed some deep blue/green metallic to give the edges some pow and shimmer/color from certain angles. Then dry brushed some silver on the tips of the details.I ran about 5 washes, starting with red and each run using a more controlled wash and less paint, and a few hues lighter towards orange/yellow. Went back in with my super fine brush and gave some orange and yellow highlights to some areas to give his inner workings a firey glowing effect. I picked up ROTF's Reverb recently because I liked his scale compared to the rest of my guys. A tad big but hey, bikes can get pretty big. Anyway a little surfing later and I figured he would make a pretty good update to Override. 5 minutes later and a quick little head swap with Revoltech Rod and I was sold. I scavenged around in my weapons box and found two matching guns. That's it. A little mod work to get the guns to fit and paint. I used modelmaster enamels and acrylics and duplicolor automotive paints. The blue isn't a good match but this was all I had around.
