Upgrades

i am wanting to make a custom combiner using cybertron optimus and the mid i was thinking Bruticus or Menasor is the on i want to make but cant think of how to combine them so all of them still come apart and trans form in to robot mode any help plz

Hey I am having a problem with my Alt Deadend. I started off using Swerve but then I looked at Rumble and his color matches the cartoon Deadend better so I thought I might switch to using my extra Rumble for him. What do you think?

looking at some website on the web just now it made me yearn to see more customs of alts into things other than automotives. not just alts i guess, anything really could serve as the base. I realize 1:24 scale would make some vehicles too large but model kits come in different scales, and I know there are some that would fit the alts perfectly. So my question is why hasnt anybody done it? I would personally love to see a helicopter or a tank.

I'm doing some minor, minor alterations to a few alternators, and I'm purchasing some faction labels from reprolabels. My instict is to get clear backings, but it seems like silver would keep the color best. Does anyone have experience with the clear labels? Any further reccomendations?

Primed the whole thing (no pun intended), painted, then dry-brushed silvewr on for the "chipped metal" look. Top it off with some black marker for detail. Enjoy.

Its been a while since I worked on any custom. Its still WIP .. Have always wanted to make a more movie accurate Movie Prime and there have been so many versions. I know I can't out do them. but still seeing all these different version really make me wanna make my own.. Some "improvement" I would like to work on are namely: 1. Face sculpt. Its a little too flat although it looks great from the front. 2. Neck joint. His was too stiff 3. Torso, his side door" Side of the chest has been dwarfed. I would like to beef it up a little. got the paint wash idea from tfmaster for this onee people. i used bwmetals ravage for the base figure completely dissasembled the figure painted it up in black then let it set over night. wiped it clean the next day using paint thinner and a wash rag custom painted it to its original color scheme tweaked it to the point that his robot mode matches up with his look from the agenda trilogy heres where it all comes together people. for the tail i used tmrattraps tail with a zoids nob built onto the end of it in place of the plug piece. i epoxy glued and sculpted that into the back of his lower body and presto now that is what i call a true up…
