  1. Started by ShadowJin,

I was looking at the Krylon website and they didn't list a silver in their Fusion line. I did however notice something like "Shimmering Nickel." Is this silver or am I out of luck and Silver doesn't exist in the Fusion line? Thanks, -Jin

  2. It was clear I'd eventually get Leader Class Megatron; while not happy with the color scheme (to say nothing of the short wing span, under-wing leg kibble, visible head, etc. etc.), it seems to be a pretty cool version of the character, and yes, I did the spring swap, the only disadvantage being that the "fusion cannon" tends to unfold a little too easily. Although I was running out of Tamiya silver, I went ahead and added silver paint to cover the blue and to add accents to the figure, with an overall flat black wash. The original: And as painted: Finally, in vehicle form. I did leave it largely in the gray plastic to give a little variety in color, …

  3. So I went a little nuts with my new silver sharpie. It started out innocently enough with Universe Ravage and his hip rockets and then moved on to the chair kibble detail on HA Bumblebee's arms. Then I went completely insane with ROTF Leader Prime and did his tanks, his head details, his sword detailing and his smoke stacks. It looks great and I'm happy with the result, but on his smokestacks the marker doesn't seem to be drying at all... even after two days. So does anyone know what to do? It's still tacky and rubbing off when I handle it. Is it just going to take longer to dry or should I look in to putting some type of clear coat over them? Also, would anyone recommend…

  4. Started by omega soundwave,

this is my new project im working on. i am taking g1 rodimus prime and turning him into what silver streak could have looked like if he had unlocked the matrix and not hot rod. i have no pictures yet but i have gone with the idea for a basic silver coat and i might have some black parts as well. i would appreciate any input in to the project. the inclosed picture is a rough guide line of what im planning. the picture isnt mine i just changed th color to give a quick indecation.

  5. Started by fortune78,

I did this a long time ago, I guess you can say this was my first kitbash. I found some old parts at a local thrift store and came up with this. I didn't think it was very good but I decided to show it off anyways. if the picture don't show up go to this page instead - http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/alicard78

Customs for those who haven't committed themselves to being dissatisfied with their toys yet. 1) Energon Guitar Jazz. Can separate into rifle/giant shuriken/dual axes, shoots lightning when he plays. 2) Bludgeon. So hardcore he pulls an energon katana out of his chest to fight. Putting it back is the hard part.3) Oilslick. "Fear (Phobos) is my ally."4) Chromia. One had a mangled face, one had a mangled body; problem solved. Leftovers disposed of.5) Trans-scanning Nemesis Prime/Big Convoy. Sexy gundam look once you pop off all his kibble.View the Custom Gallery Here

  8. Started by purple-bot,

im trying to remove his head to paint it and put it on a yellow tracks, just like the approach of 'dufftrix' i unscrewed the screw, but the head remains together rendering the screw pointless is it glued or somthing? how do you remove it?

  9. Energon Ironhide - the Super Mode green one - had always bothered me, in that he just looked like the original blue Ironhide, just with different colors substituted. I was inspired by the obvious... inspiration, to detail the figure, rather than give the paint job a complete overhaul... Trailbreaker in vehicle form. I had to leave the star on the hood... Robot mode. The radar array behind his head is very Generation One, while the overall color scheme is Cybertron. I didn't add the claws in robot mode, but Terradive works nicely. (Unfortunately, Ironhide only has a Mini-Con peg on his right arm, and I only have one Terradive anyway.) The original I…

  10. Started by @l3x,

I'm gonna Photoshop a bunch of transformers so they are mostly black an white, and then add color highlights. If you've seen the movie Sin City, you know what i mean. I'm gonna do a bunch of them, and if you have any requests just ask me in here. First off, Galaxy Force Fast Aid:
