Upgrades

one of the bad ass figures that came out in the TF movie line. this is the leader class Megatron figure... i love his robot mode as well as it's alternate mode. though everybody's not happy with the paint job. so what's next? of course... REPAINT. Smile the gold/copper details was added and also repainted the eyes with red paint with pinkish line across the eyes. the whole figure was drybrushed with silver acrylic paint. inspired by zildjians and jin's megatron repaint. :)

I'm sure it's been done before, but I've got an idea for an Alt Prowl. I like the stock Prowl, but I though it was weird that he is a different model car than Streak and Smokescreen. I also think the Impreza mold is much better for Prowl and the Acura mold is much better for Red alert because of the chest, legs and doors. I'm going to take a BTA-01 alert and a BT-15 Prowl and switch some parts. Then add some of Reprolabels cool stickers. Here's a photohack of what I'm thinking. The byproduct. I posted this before but I finished the hard top, added some red cross stickers, added Ratchet license plates and some white paint to the tops of the doors. This one was kinda special cuz my giflfriend is a nurse and I really wanted to have a true ambulance Ratchet in my ALT collection before the added stuff and after before the hard top and after Let me know what you think

I have finally started getting the pieces together to start working on my custom Wild Rider. I am taking apart my "donor" Alternators, but I am not sure how to remove the "Pins" that hold some of the hinges in place. I have a couple of pics to reference what I am talking about. This could refer to any Alternator, but for my questions I am talking about Tracks Hood Hinge Pin and his Wheels. Any help how to remove this type of pin would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! i found that if you just slice a small bit off the front of the jet's cockpit that you can still transform him right and have him look good in vehicle and robot mode by slicing the small piece in half down the cent of it. theres 2 screws holding the cockpit together. make the first cut just above the bot screw and slice all the way through it slice the piece down the center and glue each half onto the inside of the feet so that they still line up right for the vehicle mode through the cockpit area and the figure still looks good in both modes 2 quick, clean and easy, piece of cake. its a simple mod any person can do with a couple minutes a good cutting knife a…

During BW any transformer that had a TM2 body was half robot and beast. BM comes and the Maximals had a half and half body. So wouldn't technoorganics be TM2's or an upper level.

I'm looking at painting some of my LOC figs... and i'm not gonna use spray paint.... so i'm wanting to find some paint that is applied via paintbrush that is nice and touch... anyone had any luck with that? I've used testor acrylics and they chip like crazy. I'ld like to know what you have used that is successful and where to get it (BLUAVENGER, you seem to do this well, looking for your input). thanks yo!
