Upgrades

He started out as my first Smokescreen but a few disasters and really wanting to make Smokescreen out of a Japanese BB I decided to to start Smokescreen again and turn the first atempt into a character from the same G1 mold, hence Bluestreak. The only mods on him is the foot fix and the wrekage head. Smokescreen will look the same only different paintjob. (again sorry for the grainy, badly light pics) enjoy: ehko.

well, as I was browsing through walmart on the 4th after going to the movie ( :07dance ) I just happened to notice the movie party favors for sale, and saw a pack of four allspark cubes that are Jacob's ladder/image puzzles and had an idea........ I decided to try and make something that would be more in scale with the movie figs, and still be nicely detailed, so I decided to scan and repaint the allspark texture on the cubes, and then apply that texture to one of the individual cubes that make up the single puzzle so that it would be able to fit into the movie figs hands. the end result is still larger than the actual movie prop, but it's close enough until I find a …

This is my repaint of Longarm into a G1 influenced Grapple. The only custom part was turning the missile into a barrel for the arc-welder rifle and removing the rifle from his hand and putting it on his shoulder. A warning to anyone using Superclean to take off paint apps, it does crack plastic!!! You can see the roof/doors are all cracked and the parts of the shoulder/said rear panels cracked apart. Then I had to sand the paint off anyway, awe well. (sorry for the bad pics, my camera was set to an unreal ISO and I forgot it was set to that.) enjoy: TT.

Here are some better pics: They are, in fact, Protoform Optimus Prime's feet, w/ the rear toes removed; might glue them back on as thumbs, but I like the alien look of them as they are. They attach quite easily via a press-fit onto the blue prop stud into a groove cut into the foot-hands. I had the props mounted onto the forearms by trimming an existing bit of molded detail to fit the hole in the props; still working on that, they're really loose, so they're missing right now, I might just leave them off since I'm parts-forming a bit anyway. I love Stockade, but as my TF sickness mandates, I had to mod him. Had to. I was getting DTs looking at him factory-original. So I came up with two quick easy mods for the big lug to improve his articulation and poseability. First, his knees.
