Upgrades

The lines on the car were painted by me and the head adjusts up and down as well as lift and turn side to side. The paint job was done in homage to G1 Primes side trailer sticker simplified. Think of it as, If his "WW self" got a Alternator upgrade but with a bit of "Old School" homage in there as well. TFM

Yeah, I know this has been done to death, but I needed a BT Prowl the way he should have looked. It's basically just a BTA alert with an Alternators Prowl headswap, legs swapped from an Alternators Smokescreen, some minor paint mods, and some of the stickers from the BT alert to Prowl kit from Reprolabels. I did have the forearms painted black with white fists, but I switched back to silver and black because there was too much paint chipping on the hands..... before: complete:

Got BT Blue Prowl in the mail on friday. I really love this bot, the alt mode looks great, and the robot mode is pretty damned good. THe only problem I have is with the head, on the white version it looks great, but the blue almost makes it look out of place. So I switched the heads with an extra Smokescreen that I have. Planning to do a few paint apps to the arms to bring the colors together, but otherwise here it is. One thing to point out, the ball joint for the head is the same size as the one used for smokescreen, no altering what so ever to it, just unscrew the heads and switch them out. Tell me what you think.

After I head swap Prowl Ill have an extra Red alert head. If you put his head on Red meister of Cliffjumper that would make a better Cliffjumper. Anybody know if this is possible? For those who are swapping, what are you doing with your extra Prowl body and red alert head. If you have Red alert Please let me know if this head swap will work. Its unbeleivable how similar red alert's head looks like cliffjumper.

Here`s the cap and bed. I just finished painting it today. I`m going to try to finish all of the work I need to do on him this week.

Well I couldn`t find the old thread so I figured I`d start a new one to update you guys on my progress. I put all of his parts on his bot mode body today and much to my dismay I was about 1/2" off so I still have some more tweaking to do. So I should be done with him very soon. I only need to adjust about 1/4"on both sides and then adjust the double hinge joint I`m using for the hood/chest since it is too wide.

I am just starting the assembly process and thought I would show the color scheme. I also started applying the stripes to my Thundercracker. Enjoy, -Gregg The other seekers:

Here's my pics of my attempt at the BT Yellow Tracks/Dead End head swap for an "easy" BT Sunstreaker. I like this body for him better than the Dead End body anyway, so I jumped on the bandwagon. (I forget whose idea this was originally, so if someone could please remind me, I'd like to give credit where it is due.) :thumb
