Got BT Blue Prowl in the mail on friday.  I really love this bot, the alt mode looks great, and the robot mode is pretty damned good.  THe only problem I have is with the head, on the white version it looks great, but the blue almost makes it look out of place.  So I switched the heads with an extra Smokescreen that I have.  Planning to do a few paint apps to the arms to bring the colors together, but otherwise here it is.

 

One thing to point out, the ball joint for the head is the same size as the one used for smokescreen, no altering what so ever to it, just unscrew the heads and switch them out.

It matches better.  But I think I would prefer just painting Prow's head (make antenna blue or something).

It's a good idea.  If you do the (Red) alert body/Prowl head matching, that would let you keep Smokescreen without overloading on Imprezas.  How do you think your Prowl with Smokescreen's would look with red on the hood and roof?  (Like G1 Smokescreen)

I dont know, I am not sure if the alt mode would be able to carry the mismatched colors that look great on the original smokescreen, and even on the ALt Smokescreen, but the RSX just doesnt seem like it would fit right.

Dufftrix, if you place the Prowl head on a Subaru body is it an exact match? Can it still transform and is there any looseness in the neck? Thanks.

it looks alright but think ill leave them be or like vp mentioned give prowl blue anteanna the whole blue head is to much blue IMO

That's great news for all of us planning to do the alert/prowl head switch. Although the smokescreen head does go well on the blue prowl body I still thiknk I'm gonna repaint the head and arms blue n yellow. Just seems to fit the scheme better.

That is TOO cool, so if you put BT or ALT prowls head on the subie transformer body, you could in theory paint one of them in Prowls colors to make him just like his fellow 'brothers' :clap
