Convention Center

Hi I'm a newbie here ! My husband loves :tfsad well really all Transformers. I would love to take him to a convention. Anyone know of any that will be held in Ohio this year? Thanks for your help in advance. -Michelle

The Toy Addict will have a pre-show store at the Dolphin Hotel beginning Tuesday evening (6/22). We will have an ENORMOUS selection of everything from G1 to the present, so make sure to plan on stopping by the room. More details and sample pictures to come. We will be posting some additional information in this thread once we check in. Flyers will be posted in the lobby where we find a board. You are welcomed to bring by anything you may want to trade in or sell outright. Okay, time for my official report. Friday. I got there ealry afternoon and hung out and talked. Eventually went to get some food with some people and later found out I had lunch with Karl Hartman. I feel special. After eating, I played Beast Wars Transmetals on PS. While playing, I met Z4nd4r finally. I never did figure out who Echowarrior was and he never siad hi. I was too poor to eat the dinner, so I hung out more. I missed out on the exclusive transparent matrix. Next was the very informitive Transformers vs. Gobots. I learned more than I ever need to know about all things GoBots and Machine Robo. It confirmed my opinion that Gobots suck becaus…

Greetings! New member on the board (occasional lurker). My 7 yo son has been collecting TF for the past 4 years (which has, I admit, provided me with a convenient excuse for me - like Alternators) I'm in Wisconsin (recently moved) and was thinking about making the trek with my son to BotCon. Since it's about an eight hour drive, I didn't know if it would be worth it. I've never been to a convention of this sort - is it something that a 7 yo would find interesting? I'm sure he would love the dealer room, but would that be it for him? Thanks for the feedback!

I was just reading the TFormers post about Hasbro and Takara panel and got to thinking, are these conventions worth it? because I have never actually been to one of these, since I was still in school and all. now that I'm done, I might consider going to a con one of these days. I don't know convention history, but was there one that held in California at all?
