Convention Center

Toys R Us opened its first ever Philippine branch last June 30, 2006. The first major event was The Collectors' Meet held last September 23 to 30, 2006 at the 4th level, Robinson's Galleria West Wing Lobby. The top collectors of DCPH, PinoyToyKolektor (PTK), Cybertron Philippines, and Sentai Manila showcased their collectibles during the event. TRU also gave a treat to toy enthusiats by supplying vintage action figures at reasonable prices. The event attracted the veteran toy collectors as well as the casual buyers. DCPH also held its Swap Meet on the last day of the weeklong exhibit. The West Wing Lobby also became the venue of the get together of many PTK m…

CORRECTION (TOYFARE MAGAZINE) - PALISADES ULTRA MAGNUS STATUE We would like to clarify any confusion that may have arisen by an article in the recent issue of Wizard's ToyFare Magazine (issue 85, page 94), regarding the availability of the OTFCC/Palisades limited edition ULTRA MAGNUS statue. The blurb states that the statue will be available at OTFCC 2004, through the Official Transformers Collectors' Club, and/or for pre registered attendees for OTFCC. To clarify, the statue is solicited and sold by Palisades Toys (www.palisadestoys.com) through their collectors' club, and at their booth at OTFCC 2004. You do NOT have to be a pre-registered convention attendee or…

3H PRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCES FINAL VOICE ACTOR GUEST AT OTFCC 2004 It is with great pleasure that we announce the participation of veteran BEAST WARS alum, Scott McNeil, to this summer's 20th anniversary convention. Scott has provided numerous voices for the brand over the past 8 years, including fan favorites DINOBOT, WASPINATOR, RATTRAP, SILVERBOLT, JETFIRE, and STRONGARM. Having participated in previous TRANSFORMERS conventions, Scott is always a welcome sight on the floor and is a source of entertainment for young and old fans alike. --------------- I should point out that with the addition of the prolific Mr. McNeil, the 20th anniversary OTFCC now features vo…

Since the future of OTFCC is in doubt, at least for this year, I'm thinking about going to an unofficial one. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding information on any. If anyone could provide me with some details, I'd appreciate it. It needs to be something in late summer (so I can save money for it), and in the US. The closer it is to Indiana, the better. Thanks.

Who else has plans to go to Anime Mid-Atlantic this year?

I am thinking of going to my first convention. Since I live in Mid-Michigan I was thinking of going to the Toronto convention in March. My question is: Does anyone else from Michigan plan to go? Would anyone care to car pool in order to save money?

Not that I've posted enough to make any friends, but I still would like to put some names to faces. Does anyone here attending BotCon plan on wearing a nametag that has their screenname? I realize that that is abysmally dorky, but so is attending a BotCon.

Well like it says, does anyone know when or where to sign up and what kind of prices and packages for this year's Botcon?

Anyone of you guys going to be there at all? Just wondering since I probably should have asked for the last con I went to, too -__-
