Ages ago I looked at a KO of Transformers beast Wars K-9. Fast forward to 2024 and with the intention of customizing it to look like our dog, Tessa, I got the Vintage reissue of K-9. What a chance to compare the official to the KO though!

Check out my review of this awesome new figure. If the rest of the figures a like this then we are in for on heck of a combiner.

I did it fairly easily the first time, but then trying to transform the bloody ankles was an absolute bitch when I did it for the review!! If you want to see my fumbling my way through the most goddamn overly complex transformation sequence, click through to check it out lol!! :D

It's nice to know that even in 2016 collectors can still be surprised. No one knew that Ratchet would be getting a One-Step figure until it showed up on some etailer websites. Ratchet is a retool of the previously released Weaponizer Strongarm so it's a solid mold, but it suffers from balance issues when you try to have it hold a Minicon. Bisk is an all new mold and is the best version of Bisk we've gotten thus far. Unfortunately Bisk has no easily identifiable way to hold a weapon Minicon, if it's meant to at all. Overall these are fine additions to the RID line and make for great desk toys.

You know what it is. This is pretty much a small Masterpiece version of Generation 1 Transformers Jazz.

Bludgeon is a fun One-Step Transformer that shows how Hasbro is really innovating at this cheaper price point. While I would always like to see a Bludgeon figure that looks like the original robot and not the hybrid shell/bot design we've been getting for quite a while now. Definitely worth the addition to your desk legions.
