Here's a preview: The truck mode pretty much mirrors the upgrade kit for S.G. Ultra Magnus in terms of basic aesthetic. The new front bumpers and hood from the modified chest plate and shoulders truly do wonders for this alt. mode. It does have character-specific detailing with “Till all are Gone!” written on each side of the oil tanker, along with the sword holster and hilt being placed on the back of the tanker like the original Battl…

Really, the only difference is the new chestplate being put on the front hood. I like that they took advantage of the holes in the side of the Oil Tanker to use as a storage spot for Magnus’ blaster. The Robot mode is fantastic, featuring a new head, chest, and shoulders from the or…

Many fans are still in need of a Classics Springer for their collections and I think this toy does a great job even though he isn't a triple-changer. Maybe one day, but he doesn't plan on it today. Here is the only new mold in the first wave of the Beast Hunters toy line. He is actually really awesome, but simple. I don't mind simple when it leads to something with a lot of character like this one. Despite his few flaws, he is highly recommended. The surprise figure for the Toys For Tots drive by Fansproject and several retailers is none other than an awesome homage to Chromedome. The Headmaster gimmick was never my cup of tea, and the posability is a little off for unknown reasons, but otherwise this is overall a good toy for the price. Here is my review of the very cool set of Takara/Tomy Arms Micron Transformers AMW-01, 02, and 03. A very neat set from Japan that is probably the most fun I have had yet with Microns. These animal Decepticons combine to form the mighty Dark Matter Calibur! www.youtube.com/ebeforeinet www.facebook.com/ebeforei www.twitter.com/e_before_i

In a surprise (sort of) twist, Toys R Us snuck this exclusive toy into their stores without any real fanfare...a week after I bought the original Devastator set. Beyond that though he is pretty spiffy and would be easily recommended if sold on his own. Here he is, the single hardest Prime toy to get to date. He is an absolutely phenomenal toy on every level, if yours is not riddle with QC problems. I highly recommend the mold, but don't buy a reissue unless you see him in the store, or your seller has a great return policy.
