Here is the repaint of the up-scaled version toy for Soundwave. This is is a surprisingly good toy that has a shoddy gimmick, but the gimmick does not detract from the toy at all. Plus the little data discs are entertaining for what they are. Enjoy! OK I admit it, I'm a sucker for blue. Take that away and we have the stock FOC Seeker mold. Whether or not you like that mold will factor into your opinion of this figure. For my money it's a fun mold and worth a double, or possibly triple dip. http://youtu.be/LyRuglYf65g

Here are the results for the top 10 "best selling" Transformers. Please note, that a proper list would require access to and analysis of official sales data. Herein, we have what fans think, followed by another rundown at the end based more in sales and pricing from a few other sources. It's a fun topic but hardly a factual ranking. A fun topic to explore though!

Studio Series The Transformers The Movie was a long overdue addition to the Studio Series toy subline. As Hasbro ran out of toy ideas on the live-action movie front, it only made sense to also release action figures based upon the first animated movie as a means to appeal to those long-time fans. It was a pure nostalgia play and that meant a bigger bottom line if they could pull it off. CREDITS Writer & Editor: Anthony R. Haslage Reviewers: Anthony R. The Wave 2 Siege figures pick up where Wave 1 left off. Sorta Cybertronian updates to a set of Classic Transformer characters with liberal sprinkling of the COMBAT weapons system. Ironhide is a large deluxe that feels solid but suffers from some thin plastic and weak panels with a weapon that could've been designed better. SixGun has a weaker vehicle mode than Cog from Wave 1 but makes up for it with the sheer number of weapons it can form. Both are solid additions to any collection.
