I've mentioned it before somewhere, but now there seems to be some more to it.

This Allspark thread has several people recall that Hasbro hinted backstage at OTFCC that they're planning an Alternator based on the Stunticon Breakdown.

However, as many people have already pointed out time and again, that name will most probably never meet any car company's approval, and therefore, Hasbro evidently also hinted (still back at OTFCC) that the name will be slightly different.

Well... Thanks to a certain Mini-Con, Hasbro currently own the trademark to the name "Brakedown", which would be a no-brainer for a substitute.

Sorry if this doesn't fit in here, but I thought with the Allspark people recalling the Hasbro remarks, this would certainly qualify for a "rumor". :)

umm.. there is no minicon called Brakedown

No way.

No car company will allow that.

Too close to Breakdown.

well we have a white bt on the way and the whole name thing so maybe not but its not imposible

Maybe when they start making Trucks they will come out as Decepticons first and then Bots next. I would love to have two twin bots come out at the same time like Rumble and Frenzy. Maybe their arms could have dual transformations. Unless it hinders posabilty, then screw it.
