attempted to repaint Movie Barricade

hello

 

after 2 years off just lurking around i tried to repaint a Barricade and first of i'm not satisfied but that's just me...

 

took away the light bars and filled the holes with putty to get a smooth roof(after sanding it down)

Hey thats not that bad. The color suits the mold, but the blue doesnt. Maybe thats the problem?

i know, the blue was supposed to be darker but i mixed the paint with to much white and pearl..so it came out this way...

 

overall i'm pleased with the Pearl White metallic on him but in general ......

The Pearl white looks great from what i can see, its just that blue. I think a silver drybrush would work better for the robot mode sections, with pearl white accents.
