Hotshot: not all bad

Hotshot isn't the most articualted of the Energon line, but he does have some nifty idiosyncrasies. He looks a lot like the G1 powermaster Getaway: http://www.tfu.info/1988/Autobot/Getaway/getaway.htm

 

Some similarites:

 

-Hood flips back in transformaton

 

-Arms are hidden under the doors

 

-Doors become shoulder "wings"

 

-Legs are formed from the rear of car(not the most original, I know)

 

His transformation is just plain fun. I've had this guy for a week and he has yet to leave my den. Whenever I'm online and waiting for a webpage to load, I can't help but to transform this guy. His transforamtion (like inferno's) reminds me of the G1 figs in its simplicity and funfactor.

 

Oh and his head is switchable with Rodimus, so I'm considering that to be my first kitbash. A little paint and he'll look awesome.
