Ok, I am now a total fan of the WW 2 modes in DW's comic, but I really want Starscream, so I got bored today and went to Wally World. I took forever to find the right plane, but I got it. Now I dont know how to do a kitbash, but I got an idea but should I make the body from scratch or just get a HOC Seeker? I dunno how to start.

You mean WWII as in War Within II or in World War II (TFs/GIJoe)?

Oh, yeah, that is one that I want to make at some point in the future too; don't know if you have it already, but this is a scan of Don Figueroa's design for SS with some comments that can be helpfull; it's from an issue of Toyfare magazine.

 

About what to use for the bot mode, I suppose you'll need a SS to get parts like the head, unless you sculpt it by yourself (don't know how big these HoC figures are); other than that, you'll need to study the reference pic to get clearly how he transforms; I think you'll need several ball joints, try and get some beast wars junked or KO figures ofr that. Hope this helps.

Don't forget about G2 Ransack...He turned into the same (or a very similar plane). You might want to get one of those and just kitbash a new head and give him a new paint job...

um.... well the only G1 or G2 for that matter is Pretender Bumblebee, so I think it will just be a model shaped with Starscreams body WW 2 style

Ransack is not the same plane model, it's a Corsair, that's an allies plane, and Starscream it's supposed to be a german plane.
