Cy Ransack, correcting the misassembly?

I have been reading the TF wiki a lot lately, and found that Cy Ransack is mis-assembled. I've gotten into my head the notion of correcting this type of error and figured Ransack would be a good place to start. Has anyone corrected this and can offer advice? Information at:

My main question for Ransack would be... do you push the pins "up" or "down" to get them out most easily (presuming he is in cycle mode)?

 

Anyone happen to have a list of other mis-assembled figures? Some versions of Bendy Prime come to mind, I seem to recall.
