Ok, guys, I need the following answers staight out, and what brands to use and work best.

 

1. best plastic bonder/really strong glue

 

2. best plastic/what to form (plastic) pieces with

 

3. best paint/marker-will take a lot of effort to get off

 

4. best thing/glaze to put on paint to keep it from coming off

 

5. best carving tool-I take it the dremel thing works good?

 

6. best (ball) joint tightener-something that won't flake off when you move the joint

Many here seem to like styrene sheets and pvc tubing, besides junkbots to extract parts from. I like Parma Dual Tip Paint Pens for detailing. I use superglue for everything, but its tricky to work with and impossible to undo. Exacto knives and a dremel with a small metal grinder bit and a cutting wheel. I use superglue for joints too, but its a good way to screw something up if you get distracted! Some use clear nail polish. Also perfomed knurling on the ball section of a balljoint, it works great, but it wouldn't hold up under the pressure of regular child-level play. Fine for a seldom transformed display item though. Dunno about paint, I like doing detail work, but know squat about full repaints. There are far more knowledgeable people here than me though.
