Quick Review of Transformers DS Autobots version

Recommended Posts

You can scan a vehicle (over 30 different ones) and then become it. I just scanned a helicopter and now I can fly. I know a jet is possible too.

Running, picking up a tree, and whacking a Decepticlone at the same time is very entertaining :thumb

The game is free roam with mission points throughout the city. You can drive and bash to gain XP then take on a boss or a mission whenever you want.

You can pick your starting point and vehicle mode for each game. You can also pause and change your vehicle form.

It saves your progress instantly so where you stop (XP wise) is where you begin. NO STUPID SAVE POINTS!!

The Wi-Fi mode lets you D/L a different challenge each day and post your score on the website.

The cops are stupid. They will shoot you but ignore a Decepticlone killing a human :cop

STUPID CAMERA!! I wish there was an option to lock it behind you - this makes fighting a pain because you constantly have to adjust the camera to see your opponent... and fight... at the same time

Music is forgettable.

When you pause and change your vehicle form, the threat level drops to ZERO and your HP go to 100%. No challenge at all.

Final Thought

Don't expect PC/360/PS3 graphics and you won't be disappointed.

The driving part of the game is NOT as smooth as Mario Kart or others but it's still ok.

Replay is high because of multiple choices.

Very fun after getting use to the controls.
