Lightspeed

I'm glad to see some more CGI work showing up here. Here's Lightspeed, so you can guess what I'm starting now. Let me know what you think.

Next I need to figur out how to make a really big drill. Hmm...

oooo that's purty :thumb

Nope. I don't like it.

i really like the way it looks in car mode, but in robot mode, there's somthing about it that i don't like. i think the legs are too skinny. i know i said this from the others stuff you did, but i don't like the face, looks like a cyborg instead of a robot. anyhow, seems like your trying to do it exactly like the toy and i know from experience sometimes you have to improvise and improve on the character you are working on. but over all not bad keep em coming

I agree his bot mode is fairly ugly, but keep in mind that he's actually fully transformable. Same with all the Terrorcons. No fudging allowed. So that leaves him with the giant canopy "belly". Such is life.

As for the guy who didn't like it, any reasons? Just feeling disagreeable? Somebody put salt in your coffee? We're all looking for a little constructive critisism here. Other wise, thanks for your opinion, and bite my shiny metal ass.

Maybe I should change my screen name to 'Guy who didn't like it'.

But honestly. I don't like the egg shape you used. You took the toy and not the animation model for the render and I vastly prefer the animation model.

Do you also ask the people who like your work for an explaination or can you excuse them and they won't have to bite you shiney ass if they don't elaborate? I've praised your Terrorcons, I thought they were great and stuff. I don't like this technobot so much. It's that simple.

Thanks for the honest opinion. You know, I stared long and hard at the animation model to see if I could make it actually transform, and like most G1 animation models, it was a no-go. So I stuck with the one version that I know does work. The real problem I'm forseeing is Computron. Anybody who had him will remember that Scattershot's lower legs just dangled off that rear of Computron's legs. Lame. I have to find a way around that.

And no, I don't ask people who like my work to expand on their opinions because they can't offer me any advice for improvement. Plus, I'm an egotist. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

What would TFans be without a nice bit of Starscreaming once in a while, eh?

Good luck on that Nosecone. He's one of those 'I had that when I was a kid'-toys and love him for nostalgia's sake. I'll keep following your stuff.

i like the car mode but the groin dosent look right and he has butt cheeks
