Lego Transformers?

Recommended Posts

I came across a great KO at the Job Lot in Milford, CT today. They have Energon Red alert and Hot Shot in Build-to-Rule blocks. They are even "compatible with the leading building toy!"

I was unaware that Built to Rule had KO's, can you show some pics? How much were they and what was the price range?

Sorry, they weren't priced... I'll snap a couple pictures if they're still there next time I go.

Build-To-Rule wasn't a knock off item, it was a Hasbro produced item. They just didn't sell well, and they look like terrible knock offs.

Erik, he was assuming we hadn't heard of BTR before, he's incorrect in his thinking, they're the actual BTR kits.

:tflaugh So true :tflaugh

In Japan, there are unofficial Lego toys that are better than Lego. For example, a few years back we had "lego" robotic animals and vehicles that tfed into robots, with human pilots. There were three sets of 3 figs. Each set could combine together to create a getsault bot. All very anime-looking.

We also have Gundam and Evangelion Mega-Blox over here. Theyre huge bloody boxes too.

I was referring to BTR as knock-off Legos... the packaging looked pretty legit. The bots themselves not so much.

Err...isn't that what I said?

lol, that's what i figured, but wanted to make sure. Yeah, BTR was one of the worst TF items made, right up there with Animorphs (the shamed pieces of my collection)

You must be talking about Dia-block. There's an article on them by zincpanic here.
