E. Tidal Wave

Recommended Posts

I passed up on Tidal Wave during Armada...he didn't seem like that good of a toy to me. However, i was thinking about my next buy today and i suddenly started to wonder about Tidal Wave. I though, perhaps i should get him before he's removed from the toyline (and knowing Hasbro, he'll be around for a while). Nonetheless, i was wondering what the rest of you thought about this.

Is Tidal Wave worth the buy?? :tfhuh

I feel that Tidal Wave is well worth buying. Of all the larger ($20+ toys) Armada releaes, I think Tidal Wave was one of the best.

He may not have super posability, but he does have an impressive presence and he alt modes are really well done.

My opinion is that the Energon colors are much better and interesting than any previous release of the toy (Armada or Micron Legend)

Tidal Wave's an awesome figure, in any color scheme. Though I happen to be very fond of the White/Green/Gold of the early energon Decepticons. He's well worth picking up if you don't have him already.

I have an extra armada tidal wave if you're interested... I'ld like to get the energon one, but have been hoping for the price to drop to get a 3rd one of that mold.

I have both the Armada and Energon versions and I think I like the Armada color-scheme better as a stand alone figure. Like Greatshot said, the white/gold motif is pretty cool with the Energon figure too.

Basically, since you don't own any of the versions of this figure, I believe you should get atleast one of them. Just buy the one you can find/afford most easily. I know my TRU had the Armada version marked down to around 12 or 15 dollars a couple weeks ago, along with some old stock of Armada Prime for 20. Otherwise pick up the Energon one before they sell out.

If you are a fan of the Decepticons, you should get E. Tidal Wave, considering how small most of the E. Decepticons are! Tidal Wave in warship mode is really cool and he is fun to play with overall. Besides, he is the only Decepticon that can powerlink! lol

If you don't have any of the previous ones, go for it. It's a great deco of a great mold. Not all that poseable, but looks great, with lots of play value.

I used to prefer ML's version, but after seeing him on the inside and out, done in PERFECT representation in the video game, I have a new love for the green/red version in Armada....I love all three

well i went ahead and bought the Energon version of Big TW...and might i emphasize BIG! I'm actually surprised at how much i like this figure. I thought he was going to be just another big block on my shelf, but this guy has some great play value! I appreciate all your replies! Thanks!
