Dreamwave Minibots Art

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have the mini-bots drawing from dreanwave comic? I have seen them out there were they have ech of the minbot completed and by thenself. If anyone has some of those art work can you send them.

Do you mean the artwork on the Takara Minibots Collection Reissue?

They were all definitely drawn seperately, though I'm not sure I've seen the individual art released anywhere.

On a tangent though... back in the day I altered the Gears from this pic to make the art for Swerve in the MTMTE books. I don't thinkanyone's ever noticed heh.

I don't know if this is what you're thinking of...but the art was reused and the characters moved around for the box art on the japanese re-release of the minibots. Although in this case they did not use the original separate source art. They took the final image used for the comic cover, cut it up, rearranged characters and then drew in the piece that were missing.

minibots re-release image

hm yeah. maybe thats what im thinkin of
