I had the TF movie already a while on DVD, but I never bothered to look at it beyond the movie itself. Now to my surprise when I looked on it a bit more in boredom I find a complete episode of Transformers V, soldiers from the sky. I watched it and I was quite amused to see a lot of transformers that I never saw animated like Weirdwolf and Chromedome (the first transformer I ever had). This episode was with quite bad voiceovers though and some of the animations seemed to have been cut out of earlier episodes. Also it's very different from the headmaster episodes I saw on the telly long ago. As I recall that Fortress Maximus was made on that far off planet, but never went off it to protect that planet. It was quite weird to see and I'll assume the Takara storyline of the rest of the transformers went quite differently from the US version.

The DVD version I have is of Maverick Entertainment. (British I think.)

That's a lot different from the version I have. Mine has some storyboards and an interview with Vince DiCola.

if i do recall correctly, optimus puts fortmax incharge of looking after/protecting the planet where those green people live.

Anyways, i have the DVD too, and the Takara episodes that take place after season three, ignore the headmaster trilogy, so they could continue the stories into "masterforce" etc. (it is masterforce isnt it O_o)

Masterforce yes I think. Added a inlay scan to be sure.
