I know everybody knows the answer to this except me but...what are they talking about here?

 

Q: I’ve read various reports (backed up by photos) saying that the new HIGH WIRE figure is virtually unpainted from the torso up. Will this be changed in future production?

A: The deco of HIGH WIRE will not be changed going forward as a result of production material limitations.

 

I can't find any pics of Energon High Wire. Has anybody seen him?

Energon High Wire is one of the minicons of Energon Perceptor. High Wire is the dirt bike. Sureshock is the ATV and Grindor is the hovercraft.

On the package, he's pictured with a red visor and a paint wash over his chest/engine.

 

On the flip side, in losing those aps, we gained some red striping on Sureshock, which makes the Perceptor combo look surprisingly more dynamic. A pretty good tradeoff I think, because not only is the Perceptor combo the real reason to buy the set in the first place, Highwire's visor is probably much easier to paint than Sureshock's stripes by hand.
