MP01 Hip Joint Broken

Recommended Posts

The first time I tried to transform Masterpiece Prime the right leg came off. BLOODY HELL. Is this fixable? I've tried pushing it back in very hard but it just won't stay in. I thought I broke the toy but was reading the other forum on how to fix the knee joint and he mentioned that he just pushed the leg back in but it's difficult cause the springs are strong. So should I push harder?

I didn't have any problems with the hip while fixing the knee. In order to fix it you may need to flip up the hip panels and unscrew his hip then see if the peg is broken off in their. If it is then I suggest getting one of the newly released 20th anni Primes and using him for parts.

Can somebody help with my leg problem???? My MP04 Primes left leg won't retract so I can't transform him into his cab mode. I managed to dissect his leg, but I can't get to the spring mechinism inside the gas barrel that allows the leg to move in between the slots to lock. I have him in truck mode now due to the dissection, but I really don't want to have to take his leg apart everytime I want to transform him.

Easy fix for Prime's stiff legs, unscrew and gently sand down the offending clips on the fuel tanks (which you have to push in as they act as the locking mech).

If you take too much off and he suffers migit prime legs get some sticky tape and just line the catch clips with it and you will find he transforms much better.

Hope that helps...never had his legs come off at the hips EVER, would have thought it was impossible him being built so robustly :wtf

mine came off at the hip, but that was only first of the issues i had with mine. Got a replacemnt at tru for it and i had it for 3 months.... hehe.

It would be slightly underhanded, but, buy a new DVD version swap the piece, and return it as defective to get your money back.
