I want Robot Masters to come to the US.....

I have to say, these actually get less exciting every time I see them! I mean, I'll probably still get some of them, but Starscream doesn't look quite as cool in that picture.

No way this is as good as BT/alternators.

 

And I agree with mr sooty, I'm less impressed every time I see them.

They were nice, when I first saw them. However, TF:U is, for a repaint-line, much more interesting then what Takara offers. Take into consideration, there are 2 lines you look at there, one is the G1 line, the other the beast line. The G1 line has Prime and Starscream in it, and the Beast line has Convoy and megatron in it. Desides that, nothing new. Thase recolors never did something to me, IMO they are less interesting then the Universe versions. Onlyone that interests me a bit, is the Jetfire lookalike, R-Blade. And we have something similar to him already. We have Storm-jet, which is also based upon Jetfire. and we have ALL the G2 mini-jets repainted for Universe.

DEATH TO ALL ROBOTMASTER NAYSAYERS!!!!! (or at the very least some discomfort.)

 

I love them, Finally deluxe sized show accurate G-1's!! I love my MP convoy, but he his F'n huge! This guy will fit into my battle scenes and look good doing it.

What is wrong people, we want new molds, we get them, and then we decide repaints are better. Please explain people I'm lost here.

I am very excited about these. How many of us have dreamed of new molds of G1 characters like starscream and convoy. Maybe there isnt much new in this batch, but who knows where this series will go. Any of these are better than horrid repaints of armada and beast wars molds.

 

I guess these toy companies are damned if they do, and damned if they dont.

All I'm saying is that they don't look quite as good as I thought they's be, from the original blurry pictures we had. I wasn't having a go at the companies for making them. Although the Truck mode of that prime looks rediculous, like it's missing bits.

The only thing I find cool about Robotmasters is the new molds. The repaints, in comparison to Universe are BORING! Seriously, Hasbro's obviously tried to make the repaints in Universe very interesting and artistic even. Robotmasters are all flat coloured toys with un-unique paint aps, no hint of any effort to try something new. That's why I like Universe, and Robotmasters doesn't hold a candle to that, yet.

 

On the other hand, Starscream is very tempting to me. Even moreso if he gets released with his other two wingmen. Or better yet, hope Hasbro notices these so that they can get released domestically, so I don't have to pay import costs or hunt out some import shops :P.
