Holy crap! That's alot of money for a transformer man. I want Soundwave, but not that bad. I'll settle for a reissue I think!

I think the reissue is a little more show accurate anyway with the decepticon symbol on the cassette door instead of the rub sign

that's just messed up... it's rediculous how much people will pay for something like that.

 

I'll be just fine with my soundwave from childhood and my reissue.

I knew that AFA grading drove the price of figures up, but damn. $810 for something you can get online for what, $50? Seems like crazyness to me.

IMO it's only wrong if you bid on it and cannot pay for it. If someone who can pay for it wants it, more power to them. I just know I won't buy it.

Man...that's like a month's rent...dinner for 2...breakfast for 2 (if the dinner went well ;)) a tank of gas and a new x box game...I think I'll just cruise yard sales for the g1 soundwave...

the box doesn't even look "mint fresh out of case"...

Starscreamer I hear you, that is about 40 bucks shy of my rent, but thank god for roommates. LOL

 

That is ridiculous though, I bought the reissue for 34 bucks on ebay, and the reissue is more show accurate and comes in a nice display box.

 

More power to them, but if that was me and I had 800 + to spend on a transformer I wouldnt have lost my auction for the Japanese only MISB Pretender Blackshadow. Sold for $162.50. My bid was $160.00 This is what happens when you sleep, LOL.
