So i bought some comic boards from eon prod not too long ago

my first ones evah

reason i bought them was to try some real sequentials. give it a real go. Not long ago i wrote myself a 5 paged script which centers on the Autobot Bounty Hunter named Devcon

so anyways, after a bit of concepting [giving Devcon a new alt mode, sketching some page layouts for when i draw the sequentials] i decided to break in the boards and give it a try

so earlier i sketchd a rough layout of a mock cover for my sequentials, then i put pencil to paper and pic to photoshop and ended up with this

didnt turn out too bad i dont think. Theres a few things that bug me [his face is a little wonky. bigger/wider than idve liked but :\ it was a first go so]

[and its so weird drawing on such big paper xD im so used to 8.5x11 :P]

so yeah. and as a disclaimer, no this aint a real IDW book comin out [tho how sweet would a devcon one shot be? xD]

all art by me ;)

Excellent color work as usual J, I wouldve liked to have seen a full body shot, but the face is a real eyegrabber.

now THAT is just being a mean tease Josh....

:P

well, im doing a little 5 page comic so, hopefully itll be worth it :P

I envy your coloring skills :P

colors are as awsome as always Josh

the line art is good too, except I also think his face is too wide (like you mentioned yourself already)
