Introducing Bludgeon.

 

 

I wanted to hurry and post this so I rushed on the fire effect, but I still think it came out pretty good.

Stormbringer is incredible, probably the best I've read so far, and its only on issue 3.

The new 'Bludge' is super sexy, so I just had to draw it. As always, stay tuned for updates and new drawings

This is how I draw humans more or less. I've been thinking about doing a Spike/Daniel picture, but people arent my strong point. How do you see it?

 

 

 

I would have spent all day on this, if I didnt have homework. I found a great tutorial on coloring line art and so that is what I'm going off of, otherwise I really dont know what I'm doing.

After doing this in Photoshop for a couple of hours, I am really gonna have to watch how I draw now. Some of my lines disappeared completely after the adjustment.

 

09/21/06 Did some shadowing on colored areas. Fire effect is gonna have to go, otherwise itll screw up the lighting.

I kind of like the "missing jaw" that Stormbringer and Spotlight:Shockwave has shown in regards to Bludgeon. That's a nice rendition of his Pretender shell though. :thumb

thanks. Ive been scouring the internet reading Photoshop tutorials so I can learn to color my own stuff and take it to the next level.

I kind of like the "missing jaw" that Stormbringer and Spotlight:Shockwave has shown in regards to Bludgeon. That's a nice rendition of his Pretender shell though. :thumb

 

Yeah the whole missing 'jaw' thing. F'ing brilliant!! And while I'm at it...

 

Is it just me or are the stories coming out of IDW a lot more satisfying than what came out of Dreamwave?

Stories? Yes. Art? Not if we're talking about Infiltration.

Yeah, Infiltration art is not very impressive, but the designs that came out of it were great.
