Transformers: Redemption fan series is dead

For the benefit of those who do not know, Draven, at 2005, is ceasing work on his incredible fan series: Transformers: Redemption

Redemption was a fan made CGI series that takes place after the G2 comic, featuring original characters created by Draven.

 

Draven chose to stop work on this project after this ebay seller posted a number of auctions like this:

The seller is not only using copyrighted material (Draven's images and characters) but is also attempting to illegally profit from material that is not sanctioned by Hasbro. Draven freely distributed this series to the fandom, taking only the praises from the fans as his payment,

I urge all fans to boycott this seller for taking away an incredible series that was made by a fan for the fans.

What!!!!!!!!???? Thats awful! How can anybody do that? its... wrong! those Ideas don't belong to that ebayer, he stole them! Draven should file a lawsuite and sue that jerk for everything he's worth!

LOL...yeah, it sucks.

But at the same time, Draven can claim ownership over those characters about as easy as I can.

He doesn't *own* any of that because its Transformers material...Hasbro owns it by default.

6. No Personal-Issue Conflicts(*) - Deals are made and friendships forged on these boards, but when something goes wrong, keep it off the board. This includes feuds from other boards.

 

As such, this one's getting the padlock.
