I live about an hour away from botcon and will be traveling back and forth what should I expect. I was goting to get the primus pacage and was wondering If I do can I regester on Friday, also will I still get the exclusives?

Have you tried asking the botcon people that question? They probably know more then we do.

Yes, the exculsives are available to people who come to the con on Friday. It was that way last year at Botcon... I went.. but didn't buy the set... wasn't worth the money in my opinion.

Hey there, I'm new here.

My boyfriend (DragonCaesar) and I have been planning on going to Botcon this year. However, we're a bit confused about the pricing. I have been to the site, and am aware of the different packages which come with certain figures. The cheapest I've seen is the $75 Minicon package, but it sounds as though you have to purchase the Primus package to get that.

Do any of you know if there's any general admission price for the entire con, without exclusive figures? I've scoured the site, and can't find any mention of it, other than some $9 deal.... but I think that's just for the Dealer's Room.

Some clarity would be much appreciated. ^^

Good question, I myself was wondering the same thing since I have no desire to buy any of the toy packages there offering, especially at those prices.

I'm not planning on getting the TF boxed set now that I see them, but I'm still going (i live 2-3 hours away)... I'm planning on going up there on saturday morning and staying the night there... but, what my question is, when I get there, can you just walk up and pay to get into the convention floor? It talks about registering and everything, but can you just go and register at the desk or something?

Also, is it worth staying the whole day? What do most people do? I know there's the whole "look at the new figs" thing... but are there booths where people are selling stuff? I've never been to a convention... so I'm not familiar with all that entails a convention.

any insight to this thing would be good.

Last year, daily entry was like 9 bucks or something and all you are guaranteed is entry to the dealer room.

so can you pay extra for any of the other things if wanted?

If they are available when you are there, I would imagine so.

You know the more and more I think about it, the less inclined I am to go, I didnt go to last year's after having gone to the '04 con, but it just seems that the prices are so high and your not getting much in return. Are they still doing there gambling night or whatever it was they had last year?
