think I found a way to fix him.

Ok. I bought a couple of the Titanium megs at target when they were $5. So I decided to try and fix one a little. I made some plans and sorta followed them but I am happy with outcome so far. He is still a W.I.P, but hge is coming along. Here are some pics and small descriptions of what I did.

I drilled some small holes on his back waist, and put two metal pegs in them. Iheated the pegs to melt the plastic around them, so they are permanent. I then made a clip out of styrene that hinges from one peg and clasp to the other.

Here I added to pegs to the inside halves of the waist and used the same heat method to lock them in. (I noticed similar transformations of the waist on other TF's and they all had one fat peg instead of two small ones. The original 2 small pegs never locked in.) The pegs I added are a little longer than the original plastic ones so it takes a little more force to pull the waist apart.

Here I cut the cannon off and drilled a hole in the bottom. I put in a metal peg, so now the cannon can rotate 360 degrees, on the horizontal, off of megs shoulder. without having to move the cannon itself.

Here I added 1/100 gundam model kit hands, which now rotate at the wrist, not just the up and down movement. They have to pop off for transformation, but the good thing is megs backpack thingy has built in fist holders.

Here I added 1/100 gundam foot sockets to megs upper thigh. The original sockets let the weight of the legs pull themselves off constantly. The sockets I added also don;t let the legs flop around so as a plus it added more stability to the waist, and hold the whole figures weight easily.

As you noticed in the last picture. I drilled a hole in megs arm to move the cannon there for that g1 kinda look. I just think it looks better/ more menacing now.

None of this affects the transformation, except removing the hands (but that is minor considering the built in fist holders and the fact that he has more poseable hands instead of the vertical fist.). Like I said this is still a W.I.P, (He has no heels-they are rounded-so bending at the knees is next to impossible, no waist movement. Could use better leg articulation and so on). Any suggestions are welcome, please give me some feedback! :thumb

Beings I have more than one of this guy. I wanted to know, do you guys think I should bash the SH@# out of this guy and just leave him in bot mode, and use the others for transforming? :tard :alert :saw

I also fixed the shoulder joints (tighter) with the old nail polish bit. much better now. Don't pop off as much.

Yes you should :D

Thos are some nice additions. Pity they don't come as standard.

My main thing with Titanium Megs is the legs being too loose, and coming apart/off too easily. I am thinking of attempting something along these lines, but I am not sure quite what I might do yet.

That is why I put the gundam sockets in the thigh parts of megs legs. They are much more sturdy, and they pop off anymore, unless you yank them off with a good amount of force.

hmm I'ev been working on bashing megs as well to improve his suckyness. I havent made it as far as working on the arms yet. however I did find diffrent way to tweak his legs, that does give a little more articulation then the standard Titanium meg's feet\legs. I had skywarp i customed out of E Screamer a few years back. While messing around with him i discovered his legs were compatable with Titanium meg's so I removed the upper part of the legs, and with a little trimming and fileing made them fit nicely on to Titanium meg's low legs. I need to find some tank treads to glue to the legs so they will have the look of the standard Titanium megs legs. I also took a sheet of styrein and made a clip in his back pack that keeps his legs together. I just havent messed with the arms yet. I'ev been to busy. I like what you did with the cannon, and gundam. i think I'll do that to mine as well

here is a pic of my megs sorry about the quallity I used my camra phone
