Sweet zombie Primus! They actualy did it! I was expecting some sort of lame normal jet painted as Jetfire.. but they actualy made it look like the original macross bootleg the G1 toy was. Plus they incorperated bits from the cartoon and the comcis. Nice job hasbro.

 

So what was this about Hasbro sucking and not knowing a good figure if it bit them? Hmmmmm?

Looking good. :thumb  Looks to about voyager in scale next to Optimus Prime which IMO is fine by me. Looks to me like they nailed the G1 look dead on in alt mold while at the same time opting for a WW esq bot mode. Overall excellent all around. Colours look to be finalized already on both him and Mirage so official test shots should be along shortly. Oh and who said Mirage was a scout? It was already known that all Classics would be ither deluxe or voyager scale.

 

IMO this and every other Classics figure heavily pwn everything thus far released in the Titanium line.

In a sense yes. If I had only enough money to spend on one line out of the two Classics would win hands down. Deluxes are pretty much in the same price range only look to be more solid and feature more articulation and though the voyagers will easily be more they look to definitely be worth the given price point.

 

This isn't so much about being a gheybo fanboy and Starscreaming out every new toy that comes down the line but knowing from the get go what either appeals or excites me personally as a collector, Crudely painted dicast over lightweight plastic and paintaps doesn't and that's how I'm seeing a lot of these Titanium figures. FWIW dicast can look amazing as it does on any of the reissues/MP Prime or even BTs but at a $15 price point not so much.
